The Moonee Valley Foundation alumni concert will feature a number of recent award winners in performance on Sunday 21 May at 2.30pm at St George's Church in Travancore. Afternoon tea will follow. Join musician Erica Rasmussen and visual artist Zakiya Kurdi for a tactile exploration of sound and paint.

Play with a range of percussion instruments and respond to all sorts of sounds using movement and paint to create spontaneous visual artworks inspired by music.

We have created this series of Paint What You Hear workshops especially for toddlers.

Crashendo! will be performing with Squawkestra Orchestra on Saturday 15 October at 5.00pm at Werribee Baptist Church. The performance will feature Crashendo! and Squawkestra performing live sound track to puppetry and storytelling by Billy Paul and Jacob Williams. Erica Rasmussen will also be joining Squawkestra as guest percussionist.

“We will be hosting live music, artisan market stalls, and free creative workshops for adults and children. Enjoy a performance from the ‘Crashendo’ orchestra from Laverton P-12, DJ Nathan McCarter and a Polynesian dance troupe, live street art demonstrations and free face painting."

“There will be special food offers from local traders and all proceeds from stall holder fees will be donated to West Welcome Wagon, a local charity supporting refugee communities.”

I'm excited to be playing in this concert coming up at Conduit Arts, hosted by multi-instrumentalist and good friend Kristen Perry! You will be treated to some fabulous music, great company and Leo and Marie from Conduit Arts always bake something nice. Sadly, Conduit Arts will be closing their doors in May so come and join us for a last goodbye to this fabulous arts space.

Original compositions by Howard Cairns, John Milton, Kristen Perry and Erica Rasmussen. Special guest visual artist Honor Bradbeer will draw one of our performances in real time, creating a vision to our music.

Paint What You Hear will feature as part of Kinderling Kids Radio Danceteria at MPavilion.

Kinderling Kids Radio has you sorted for music, dancing and heaps of family fun. It’s perfect for kids aged up to six and their parents. The event will also include arts and crafts activities and stories run by Kiddyrock and designed to trigger imagination.

Crashendo will be presenting their final concert for 2015 in December. The concert will feature all three Crashendo orchestras - Elgars, Beethovens & Mozarts, plus solos and duets. Paint What You Hear will be happening as part of Heide Art Bubs. Erica will lead children and their carers through various activities including playing with percussion instruments to create an orchestra and painting to music.
